Job Purpose

As a Strategist and Planner at Gripped, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction for our clients' marketing efforts. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with clients' business objectives, driving growth, and enhancing visibility in their respective markets.

Responsibilities

  • Build deep understanding of our customers, their markets, business goals and requirements through conversation with key senior stakeholders.
  • Develop innovative marketing strategies that meet client objectives and drive measurable results.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Translate strategies into a set of tactics that fit within an agreed budget.
  • Guide internal execution teams on the optimum sequence of those tactics to achieve your goals.
  • Present strategies to customers and internal teams and ensure smooth handover from strategy into execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content, SEO, paid media, and analytics, to ensure strategy alignment and execution excellence.
  • Monitor, analyse, and review activity and campaign performance, making data-driven recommendations for optimisation and future strategy adjustments.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing best practices to continuously improve our strategic offerings.
  • Foster strong client relationships through effective communication, reporting, and strategic advice.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and strategic workshops with clients and internal teams to uncover new opportunities and innovative approaches.

 

Experience and skills:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • 3+ years of B2B Marketing Agency experience across multiple disciplines
  • Excellent communication skills & ability to hold a room
  • An understanding of Digital Marketing strategy & principles
  • Exposure to a variety of Marketing techniques and projects
  • All set against a B2B environment
