Gripped is a digital marketing agency for B2B SaaS, tech & IT companies. Using a combination of content marketing, SEO, automation, paid media, website expertise and market understanding, we help our customers differentiate before their competitors get out of bed.

Gripped is seven years old and is now over a year into their own demand generation journey. We are coming up to the end of a successful financial year, and we want to invest further in Gripped's marketing to continue this momentum.

Job Purpose

We’re on the hunt for a confident, eager and well-organised individual who can work under the guidance of Gripped’s Demand Generation Lead, supporting them on delivering Gripped’s marketing strategy. They will mentor and upskill you where needed, and continue to help you develop your career in the direction you want it to go.

This is the perfect role for someone starting, or a year or two into their B2B marketing career and eager to get exposure to a wide set of marketing channels and tactics. It’s an exciting combination of getting to experience the agency world while operating through the lens of an in-house B2B marketer.

 Responsibilities

In this role you will be on a journey to take responsibility for the following areas of Gripped’s demand generation efforts:

 

Content marketing & SEO

  • Undertaking keyword research
  • Creating and executing Gripped’s content plan, using specialists where needed
  • Analysing and optimising content
  • Creation of a bi-weekly email newsletter
  • Own Gripped’s company social media channel, posting & engaging on it
  • Support, and eventually own, the creation of video content and its distribution
  • Support, and eventually own, the customer review process

 

Paid media

  • Manage Gripped’s paid media campaigns across LinkedIn and Google, with support where needed
  • Refresh ad copy, creatives and content on a bi-monthly basis

 

Website

  • Execute a website improvement roadmap, with support from specialists where needed

 

Market research

  • Support on the creation of Gripped’s annual SaaS report
  • Research new strategies or tactics and form a plan on how to execute them

 

Martech

  • Create marketing automation where required and help resolve any bugs

 

Reporting

  • Analyse the performance of Gripped’s demand generation and suggest improvements
  • Support on creating reporting decks
  • Provide high level weekly reports on number of sales conversations, qualified deals and pipeline created 

 

Sales support

  • Execute audits of prospect’s marketing where required 
  • Support on the creation of sales decks for prospects

Experience and skills:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • An understanding of the Digital Marketing principles and tactics listed in the responsibilities
  • Experience of martech such as HubSpot, Zapier, and Google Analytics
  • Exposure to a variety of marketing techniques and projects
  • B2B experience (placement, agency or in-house)
  • Working with SaaS / tech customers or worked in a SaaS/tech business is ideal, but not required
