Gripped Is One of the First Agencies to Become LinkedIn Ads Certified
Gripped is now a LinkedIn Ads Certified Agency, one of the first globally to earn the certification through LinkedIn’s pilot programme.
Our paid media team completed all four LinkedIn Marketing Labs certifications: LinkedIn Ads Fundamentals, Marketing Strategy, Content & Creative Design, and Measurement. The process was led by Lewis Shirfield, our Head of Paid Media.
What’s the LinkedIn Ads Agency Certification?
LinkedIn built this programme to recognise agencies that have demonstrated real skills and expertise across the LinkedIn Ads platform. It covers campaign setup, audience strategy, creative development, optimisation and performance measurement.
To qualify, agencies needed a minimum number of team members to pass all four certifications. We were invited into the pilot in December 2025 and had our team certified by the deadline.
Why we did it
We’ve been running LinkedIn Ads for B2B SaaS and tech companies since we started Gripped in 2017. LinkedIn is the most important advertising platform for the companies we work with, it’s where B2B buyers actually spend time and it’s where we drive the most pipeline.
We didn’t need a certification to know how to run LinkedIn campaigns. We’ve been doing it for years. But independent validation matters. When we tell a client we know LinkedIn Ads inside out, this is LinkedIn confirming that’s true, not just us saying it.
What this means if you work with Gripped
Nothing changes in how we operate. The same team, the same approach, the same focus on pipeline and revenue over vanity metrics.
What it does mean is that the people running your LinkedIn campaigns have been tested against LinkedIn’s own standards for audience strategy, campaign architecture, creative and measurement. That’s a good thing to know when you’re trusting someone with your ad spend.
