Charlotte Fox | Senior Marketing Account Manager

"After starting my career agency side, I made the decision to move in-house. However, I quickly found that the slower pace and conflicting priorities meant I wasn't learning or making an impact as quickly as I hoped.

Working at a fast-paced agency means exposure to a variety of customers with different business models and marketing needs. This means ample opportunities to learn and to grow as a marketer, far quicker than I experienced as part of a large in-house team.

Working with customers' going through rapid growth as an extension of their team means that I'm able to make a tangible impact right away and directly contribute to that growth journey - that's incredibly rewarding."

Coming from agencies where it was just "deliver, deliver, deliver" with little thought behind the output, being able to take such a measured and strategic approach to everything I do here has been a breath of fresh air. No matter what's going on, time will always be made to support your learning. You're also incredibly hands on, developing skills and attributes that you aren't able to develop at the vast majority of other agencies. Couple that with the social life here, and you're onto a winner.

What our team say about working at Gripped

Interviewing at Gripped

We’ve tried to make the application process simple to understand and navigate. Once you’ve found the role you are qualified for or interested in, complete the short application form. A Gripped team member will review your application, and if your experience fits, we’ll get in touch to schedule a quick call to have a conversation. That call will usually be 30-minutes long, and it will allow you to ask questions about the role, Gripped, and the process.

In that conversation, we’re looking to determine if you’d be a good fit for the interview process, and we want to protect your time as much as ours - so we’re reasonably picky about who goes through to the entire interview stage. We like to make sure that you get an opportunity to speak to multiple people from across Gripped, so you can get an authentic feel for how and what we are as a group.

Once selected for an interview, we want to see you in action. Your interview and task will look and feel slightly different, whether it’s a specialist role or a customer-facing role. But all positions will include behaviour, experience, and competency-based questions.

Ultimately, we're keen to ensure that you are a good fit for the digital marketing agency job at Gripped, but more importantly, that we're a good fit for you. If you're not a good fit for whatever reason, we'll provide you with feedback and be transparent.

If you are the right person for the right role - congrats. We’ll prepare your offer and agree on your start date.
